Innovating

For many years, Inclusive Care Support have adopted a high level of innovative tools and methods of working with individuals with autism, learning disability and mental health needs. Such strategies have included Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support, both used across each of our services to enable our staff teams to understand many behaviours and gain increased insight to inform the preferred way to work with that individual to reduce incidents and/or severity of such.
In the past year, in our young people’s accommodation-based services, Inclusive Care Support have been promoting the use of and implementing Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) within the delivery of our accommodation services. Psychologically Informed Environments are services that are designed and delivered in a way that considers the emotional and psychological needs of the individuals using them
